Palak paneer

 A popular Indian dish





*Ingredients:*


For the palak puree:


1. 2 cups fresh spinach leaves

2. 1/2 cup water

3. 1 tablespoon lemon juice

4. 1 teaspoon ginger paste

5. 1 teaspoon garlic paste


For the paneer mixture:


1. 250 gm paneer (Indian cheese), cut into small cubes

2. 1/2 cup ghee or oil

3. 1 teaspoon cumin seeds

4. 1 teaspoon coriander powder

5. 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder

6. 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder

7. Salt, to taste


For the gravy:


1. 2 tablespoons butter

2. 2 cloves garlic, minced

3. 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour

4. 1 cup milk

5. 1/2 cup heavy cream (optional)


#Instructions:-


1. Blend spinach, water, lemon juice, ginger paste, and garlic paste into a smooth puree.

2. Heat ghee/oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds, coriander powder, turmeric, and red chili powder. Cook for 1 minute.

3. Add paneer cubes and cook until golden brown.

4. In a separate pan, melt butter. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.

5. Add flour and cook for 1 minute.

6. Gradually add milk and heavy cream (if using). Stir continuously.

7. Add palak puree, salt, and cooked paneer mixture. Stir well.

8. Simmer for 5-7 minutes or until the gravy thickens.

9. Serve hot with naan, roti, or rice.
